May 2013 -- 21st ANNUAL UINTAH HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT SPRING ART EXHIBIT: Wednesday May 1st through Saturday, May 18th.
EXHIBIT INFORMATION:
Uintah School Districts Uintah High School and Vernal Junior High School art students display a variety of their arts -- oils, watercolors, sketchs, and more.
OPENING RECEPTION: For the students, their families and friends, and the community will be held on Wednesday, May 1st -- 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served. The community is welcome and encouraged to attend.
OPEN: Monday through Friday - 9 am to 5 pm, Saturday - 10 am to 2 pm.

EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM

CodeRED Seconds Count In An Emergency!

Uintah County has instituted the CodeRED Emergency Notification System - an ultra high-speed telephone communication service for emergency notifications. This system allows us to telephone all or targeted areas of the county in case of an emergency situation that requires immediate action (such as a boil-water notice, missing child or evacuation notices).

The system is capable of dialing 50,000 phone numbers per hour. It then delivers our recorded message to a live person or an answering machine, making three attempts to connect to any number.

and other emergency incidents where rapid and accurate notification is essential for life safety.
